Locums Family Medicine Physician - Outpatient Weekday Practice (Petoskey, MI)

We’re looking for an experienced locum family medicine physician to join an outpatient practice in beautiful Petoskey, Michigan. This role offers a steady Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or on-call duties - ideal if you want predictable hours and a balanced work life.

Schedule & patient details

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
• See about 20 patients per day
• Care for newborns through geriatric patients - adult and pediatric outpatient visits
• EHR: Cerner
• Each provider is supported by one medical assistant and one patient access representative

What you’ll do

• Provide full-scope outpatient family medicine for patients of all ages
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage both acute and chronic conditions
• Conduct pediatric and adult wellness visits, plus routine gynecologic care (including pelvic exams and Pap smears)
• Interpret EKGs and order or review diagnostic testing as needed
• Document encounters and treatment plans in Cerner
• Work closely with clinical support staff and coordinate care with other providers

What we’re looking for

• MD or DO degree
• Board certified in Family Medicine
• Active Michigan medical license
• Prior family medicine experience and comfort treating patients from newborns through geriatrics
• Local to Michigan
