Job Description
Join a well-supported clinic in Petoskey, Michigan, caring for patients of all ages with a predictable weekday schedule and no call responsibilities. This locum tenens opportunity is ideal for a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician who prefers a focused outpatient practice.
What to expect
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No weekends and no night call
- Typical patient volume around 20 patients per day
- Cerner EHR
Clinical responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care for adults and children
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Perform routine wellness and preventive visits
- Conduct gynecologic exams, including pelvic exams and Pap smears
- Interpret EKGs
- Coordinate referrals, follow-up, and overall patient care
- Document encounters accurately in Cerner
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Active Michigan medical license
- Prior Family Medicine experience required
- Must reside in Michigan
- Strong outpatient clinical and diagnostic skills
- Comfortable treating patients across the lifespan
