Locums Emergency Medicine Physician - Flexible Days/Nights/Weekends in Orlando & FSEDs

We are seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician to provide flexible coverage at our main hospital campus in Orlando, FL and at affiliated freestanding emergency departments (FSEDs) in the surrounding area. Candidates should be adaptable to day, night, and weekend shifts; preference given to those willing to cover both the hospital and FSED sites. Site Directors will conduct phone interviews and answer questions during the screening process.

Schedule & coverage

• Flexible scheduling including days, nights, and weekends
• Main hospital: may offer shifts shorter than 12 hours
• Affiliated FSEDs: 12-hour shifts required
• Opportunities to cover both the main hospital and FSED locations

Facility details

• FSEDs deliver comprehensive emergency services, including on-site laboratory and imaging

Core responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with emergency conditions
• Provide stabilization and arrange transfers as needed
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
• Accurately document patient care and collaborate with clinical teams

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM), or
• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with a minimum of 3 years and 6,000 hours of direct emergency medicine experience
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
• ATLS recommended (not required for FSED coverage)
