Glaucoma Specialist - Brown University Health (Academic, Surgical, Competitive Pay)

Brown University Health is hiring a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Glaucoma Specialist to join the Ophthalmology department in Providence, Rhode Island.

Location and Practice Setting

• Providence, RI with practice privileges at two fully equipped surgical centers (Providence, RI and Attleboro, MA)
• Join a team of 12 ophthalmology providers delivering primary eye care and specialty services
• Strong referral network and access to advanced surgical facilities

Clinical Responsibilities

• Medical and surgical management of glaucoma
• Outpatient clinic care and operative glaucoma procedures
• Opportunity to develop a mixed clinical/surgical practice within a collaborative group

Academic and Teaching Activities

• Participate in a residency program affiliated with Brown University
• Teach and mentor Brown-affiliated medical students and Physician Assistant students during clinical rotations
• Emphasis on education, mentorship, and academic engagement

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary range: $225,000-$325,000 plus RVU-based productivity incentives
• Three-year employment agreement

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
• Fellowship training in Glaucoma required
