Ophthalmologist (Board-Certified/Eligible) - Academic Practice, Providence, RI

Brown University Health is looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Ophthalmologist to join a collaborative, well-established department in Providence, Rhode Island. You’ll practice in an academic-affiliated environment with modern surgical facilities and a robust referral network.

You will be part of a 12-provider team delivering a full spectrum of eye care - primary and specialty. Clinical duties include outpatient care and surgery, with access to two fully equipped surgical centers in Providence, RI and Attleboro, MA.

Academic and teaching opportunities are strong. You’ll have the chance to participate in a residency program, work with Brown-affiliated medical students, and mentor Physician Assistant students on clinical rotations. Compensation and benefits are competitive:

• Base salary range $225,000-$325,000 plus RVU-based productivity incentives

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
• Eligible for or holding an active Rhode Island medical license (required)
• Massachusetts medical license preferred
• Fellowship training or subspecialty focus in Cornea preferred
