Locum Neurosurgeon - Trauma/Acute Care, Level II Trauma Center, Corpus Christi, TX

Locum tenens opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to provide trauma and acute care neurosurgery coverage with an elective component at an ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center in Corpus Christi, TX.

Schedule

• Per diem opportunity: 4-7 flexible 24-hour shifts per month
• No additional call requirement
• Strong APP support for shifts

Practice setting

• ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center
• New, state-of-the-art hospital with advanced ER, OR, and inpatient facilities
• Accredited Stroke Center with multidisciplinary subspecialty support
• Team-based environment with experienced full-time Advanced Practice Provider coverage

Clinical responsibilities

• Provide trauma and acute care neurosurgical coverage
• Manage emergency and inpatient neurosurgical cases
• Perform elective neurosurgical procedures as appropriate
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and document care thoroughly

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain one
• Current experience in trauma neurosurgery

Compensation & benefits

• $4,600 per 24-hour shift
