Locum Tenens Neurosurgeon - Trauma/Acute Care (Corpus Christi, TX)

Locum opportunity in South Texas Gulf Coast providing trauma, acute care, and elective neurosurgery coverage at an ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center.

Location

• Corpus Christi, TX (coastal city; no state income tax)

Facility

• New, state-of-the-art hospital with advanced ER, OR, and inpatient capabilities
• Accredited Stroke Center
• Strong subspecialty support and collaborative, team-based environment
• Full-time, experienced Advanced Practice Provider support

Schedule

• Per diem engagement: 4-7 flexible 24-hour shifts per month
• No additional call requirement

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide trauma and acute care neurosurgical coverage
• Manage emergency and inpatient neurosurgical cases
• Perform elective neurosurgical procedures as appropriate
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and APPs
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and standard of care

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain one
• Current experience in trauma neurosurgery

Compensation & Benefits

• $4,600 per 24-hour shift
