Radiology Physicians - Chief of Radiology, Diagnostic, Breast & Interventional (Rhode Island)

Brown University Health is recruiting board-certified or board-eligible Radiology physicians for a hospital-based practice just outside Providence, RI, serving southeastern Massachusetts. Openings: Chief of Radiology (leadership), Diagnostic Radiologist, Breast Imaging Radiologist, and Interventional Radiologist.

Role summaries

• Chief of Radiology (Leadership)

  • Provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership while maintaining an active clinical workload.
  • Lead physician engagement, quality improvement, and service-line growth initiatives.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.

• Diagnostic Radiologist

  • Provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging (CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, X-ray).
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care and opportunities for teaching and subspecialty development.

• Breast Imaging Radiologist

  • Provide screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided breast procedures.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary breast care team to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.

• Interventional Radiologist

  • Perform the full spectrum of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures in a procedure-focused practice.
  • Opportunity to expand procedural services and contribute to program growth.
  • IR certification required.

Compensation and benefits

• Chief of Radiology: $475,000-$550,000
• Diagnostic & Breast Imaging Radiologist: $475,000-$535,000
• Interventional Radiologist: $490,000-$550,000

Minimum requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (appropriate IR certification for Interventional role)
• Fellowship training or documented clinical interest in Breast Imaging or Interventional Radiology where applicable
• Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts (and appropriate state licensure as required)
