Locum Emergency Medicine Physician - Freestanding ED, Hendersonville TN (12-hr Shifts, Long-Term)

We’re looking for a Locums Emergency Medicine physician to staff a brand-new Freestanding Emergency Department in Hendersonville, TN. This is a long-term, flexible assignment in a modern, efficient ED with strong clinical support - ideal if you want reliable schedules, collaborative colleagues, and straightforward logistics.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts: days 7:00 AM-7:00 PM and nights 7:00 PM-7:00 AM.
• Rotations include morning, mid, and night shifts; weekends and nights required.
• No on-call duties.
• Assignment length: 1 year+ with an ASAP start.

Clinical responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform standard emergency medicine procedures and interpret diagnostic testing (labs, imaging, EKGs).
• Stabilize patients and coordinate transfers for higher-acuity cases.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation.

Who we’re looking for

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM preferred); Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians with ED experience will be considered.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Active Tennessee medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Comfort performing standard ED procedures.
