Part-Time Medical Director/Attending Physician - Flexible Schedule, No Call, Hudson OH

Provide medical direction and attend to patients at local skilled nursing facilities in Hudson, OH on a part-time basis. Partner with nurse practitioners and physician assistants to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care and provide clinical oversight at assigned facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Admit, evaluate, and manage post-acute and long-term care patients.
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for NP/PAs caring for assigned patients.
• Coordinate care plans, order and interpret tests, and adjust treatment as appropriate.
• Document visits and communicate effectively with facility staff, families, and consultants.
• Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance activities as needed.

Schedule and workload

• Part-time; physicians typically cover each facility 1-2 days per week.
• No overnight shifts and no call responsibilities.
• No fixed daily start/end times.
• Average 18-25 visits per day.
• Company-provided iPad with LTE for documentation.

Requirements

• MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine.
