Board-Certified/Eligible General Orthopedic Surgeon - Total Joints (Fly-In, Reno NV)

An established orthopedic surgery program serving a rural community near Reno, Nevada is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible general orthopedic surgeon with total joint experience. This is a fly-in, no-relocation opportunity with a full-scope orthopedic practice, predictable schedule, and full travel and licensing support.

Highlights

• Full-scope practice: elective and acute orthopedics with emphasis on growing elective volume (total joint replacement, arthroscopy, hand, basic fracture care)
• Schedule: 10 shifts/month providing 24/7 ED orthopedic call coverage; shifts selected 120 days in advance
• Model: fly-in; employer covers licensing, travel, and accommodations
• Clinical support: hospitalist-supported admissions, onsite clinic, protected OR time
• Team: established, collaborative surgical team

Compensation & Benefits

• $3,195 per shift

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training or strong experience in total joint replacement preferred
• Eligible for Nevada medical licensure (licensing support provided)
• Ability to manage both elective and acute orthopedic cases
• Willingness to participate in ED call coverage
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care
