Travel General Orthopedic Surgeon - Total Joints Focus, Fly-In, Predictable 10 Shifts/Month (Nevada)

Join an established orthopedic surgery program serving a rural Nevada community as a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Orthopedic Surgeon with total joint experience. This fly-in position provides a full-scope orthopedic practice with a predictable schedule and full travel and licensing support - no relocation required.

Key details

• Practice model: Fly-in, hospital-based with onsite clinic and protected OR time
• Schedule: 10 shifts/month (24/7 ED orthopedic call coverage); shifts selected 120 days in advance
• Case mix: Elective and acute care - focus on growing elective volume (total joints, arthroscopy, hand, basic fracture care) plus trauma and ED consults
• Team: Hospitalist-supported admissions and an established, collaborative surgical team

Compensation & benefits

• $3,195 per shift

Requirements

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training or substantial experience in Total Joint Replacement preferred
• Eligible for Nevada medical licensure (support provided)
• Ability to manage both elective and acute orthopedic cases
• Willingness to provide ED call coverage per program model
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care
