OB/GYN Hospitalist Physician - Abilene, TX (Full-Time, Competitive Salary & Benefits)

Join a collaborative hospitalist team committed to delivering consistently excellent inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care in Abilene, Texas, with additional opportunities across the state. This role is focused on improving patient safety and satisfaction by ensuring every pregnant patient presenting to the hospital receives expert, timely physician care.

You will work closely with local obstetricians and multidisciplinary hospital teams while enjoying a superior work/life balance. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong clinical judgment in obstetric emergencies, excellent communication and teamwork, and a commitment to quality improvement and patient-centered care.

Position highlights:

• Competitive salary range of $300,000-$340,000 plus a full benefits package
• Full-time hospitalist role with flexible, self-created schedules
• Typical commitment: 7-9, 24-hour shifts per month (about 21 days off)
• No office management duties or traditional on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Proven ability to manage obstetric emergencies and provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care
• Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation, and commitment to continuous improvement
