Hybrid PMHNP (Child/Adol/YA) - Sterling, VA | $135-175k + $10k Sign-On, Flexible After-School Hybrid

Join an interdisciplinary team in Sterling, VA providing integrated psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and young adults. This full-time role emphasizes high-quality, collaborative care with flexible scheduling and strong clinical support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and evidence-based treatment to pediatric and young adult patients
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and care team members to develop and adjust treatment plans
• Document clinical encounters and maintain accurate medical records
• Communicate with families and community providers as needed
• Participate in quality improvement and team meetings

Schedule & work model

• 40 hours per week
• Hybrid: up to 3 days onsite weekly
• Minimum 10 clinical hours onsite per week; up to 7 clinical hours remote
• At least 15 hours required during after-school times (after 4:00 PM ET on weekdays and/or weekends); minimum 10 of those during peak after-school times
• Administrative hours may be completed remotely
• Flexible scheduling aligned with patient needs

Compensation & benefits

• Base salary: $135,000-$145,000
• Total potential earnings: up to $175,000+ annually
• $100 per clinical hour for hours beyond base caseload

Required qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program
• Board-certified PMHNP (PMHNP-BC)
• Minimum 1 year of independent psychiatric experience post-licensure
• Active Virginia PMHNP/APRN license
• DEA registration and state prescriptive authority
• Ability to be onsite for at least 10 clinical hours per week
• Availability for after-school hours (after 4:00 PM ET and/or weekends)
• Access to reliable technology (computer, phone, high-speed internet)
