Hospitalist Physician - Full-Time (7-on/7-off) in Great Falls, MT

Join a collegial, hospital-employed team in Great Falls, Montana, as a full-time Hospitalist at a modern 46-bed acute care hospital (36 inpatient beds) supported by a full complement of medical and surgical specialists and advanced diagnostic and procedural capabilities.

Practice highlights

• Full-time, employed position on a 7-on / 7-off block schedule (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Dedicated nocturnists and in-house Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians
• Typical daily census: ~15 patients per hospitalist
• Telemedicine Critical Care/Pulmonology coverage plus broad on-call specialty backup
• Nursing ratio approximately 1:5 (adjusted for acuity)
• Facility features: 10-bed open ICU, advanced cath labs, in-house 5-OR surgical suite, adjacent 4-OR ambulatory surgery center, and an 8-bed Emergency Department staffed by experienced clinicians

Preferred procedural experience

• Candidates comfortable with or experienced in central line placement, intubation, and arterial line insertion are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Eligible for Montana medical licensure
• Strong clinical judgment with a patient-centered approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
