Part-Time Medical Director / Attending Physician - Hospitalist (Skilled Nursing, Owen WI)

Provide medical direction and attend to post-acute and long-term care patients across local skilled nursing facilities in Owen, WI. This part-time role partners with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver patient-centered care and clinical oversight within assigned facilities.

Schedule and workload

• Part-time: physicians typically cover each facility 1-2 days per week
• No fixed start/end times, no call, no overnight shifts
• 18-25 patient visits per day
• Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance

Key responsibilities

• Serve as attending physician and medical director at assigned skilled nursing facilities
• Collaborate with NPs/PAs and facility staff to manage clinical care and transitions
• Provide clinical leadership, oversight, and decision-making for patient care
• Document care using company-provided iPad with LTE

Qualifications

• MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and leadership skills
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
