Hospitalist NP/PA - Skilled Nursing Care in Kansas City, Flexible Schedule, No Call

Provide patient-centered primary care to residents in skilled nursing facilities across Kansas City, MO. Full-time position with flexible scheduling, no overnight or on-call duties. Work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care.

Schedule and Responsibilities

• Full-time; six-hour facility shifts. Rounds generally start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• Average 15-20 patient visits per day.
• Conduct daily rounds; evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe and manage medications, develop and implement treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted U.S. license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
• NP certification: ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, or AACN. PA certification: NCCPA.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in FM, IM, Geriatrics, PM&R, or ED.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
