Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist opening in Spearfish, SD
Full-Time | CRNA | Hospital-Based | 40 Hours
A hospital in Spearfish, South Dakota is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia and analgesia services for surgical and obstetrical patients.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Full-time CRNA opportunity
- Hospital-based anesthesia role
- Provide safe, efficient, and effective anesthesia and analgesia services
- Support surgical and obstetrical patients
- Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessment, anesthesia care planning, informed consent, intraoperative monitoring, and perioperative anesthesia management
- Respond to anesthesia needs inside and outside surgical areas
- Serve as a resource for neonatal and adult resuscitation/code situations
- Provide epidural analgesia for labor and delivery
- Support post-operative pain management, acute and chronic pain management, and IV catheter placement as needed
- Collaborative environment with nursing peers and other healthcare professionals
- Regular full-time position with 40 scheduled weekly hours
- Assigned schedules and hours determined by department needs

Candidate Requirements:
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
- South Dakota RN license required
- South Dakota CRNA certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred
- 1+ year of related experience preferred
- Master’s degree in a health-related field preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and patient-focused care skills
