Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant opening in Fairfield County, CT
Full-Time or Part-Time | Urgent Care | All Ages | No Call
A growing urgent care team in Fairfield County, Connecticut is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality care for patients of all ages in a fast-paced, supportive clinical setting.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Urgent Care APP role serving Fairfield County communities
- Locations may include Fairfield, Trumbull, Norwalk, Westport, Stamford, Shelton, Stratford, Monroe, and Wilton
- Evaluate and treat acute illnesses and injuries
- Care for patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics through geriatrics
- Clinical responsibilities include laceration repair, suturing, staple removal, incision and drainage, splinting, casting, wound care, EKG interpretation, preliminary X-ray interpretation, IV therapy, and medication administration
- Perform DOT, occupational, sports, and school physicals
- No call responsibilities
- Full-time schedule: 38 hours per week
- Part-time schedule option: 24 hours per week
- Rotating schedule within clinic hours
- Monday-Friday clinic hours: 8:00 AM-8:00 PM
- Saturday-Sunday clinic hours: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Shared weekend rotation across the provider team
- State-of-the-art technology and clinical support
- Established onboarding and ongoing mentorship

Candidate Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Connecticut APRN or PA license, or eligibility
- FNP Board Certification or NCCPA Certification
- Minimum of 1 year of Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or comparable acute care experience required
- Comfortable treating patients of all ages
- Comfortable with minor procedures, EKG interpretation, and preliminary X-ray review
- Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, or DOT physical experience preferred
- DOT certification preferred
