Full-Time | Inpatient Critical Care | Rotating Day/Night | No Call
A major teaching hospital in Hartford, Connecticut is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join its inpatient Neurocritical Care team.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Inpatient Neurocritical Care APP role
- Join a multidisciplinary team caring for critically ill neuroscience patients
- Patient population includes complex stroke, skull base surgery, status epilepticus, tumor resections, spinal cord injury, deep brain stimulation, and other complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions
- APPs rotate through intensive care and stepdown units
- Full-time rotating day/night schedule
- No call required
- Premium differentials offered
- Practice within a large, integrated neuroscience program with exposure to vascular neurology, neuro-oncology, neurosurgery, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular neurology, headache, pain management, cognitive neurology, neuro-ophthalmology, and general neurology
- Level I Trauma Center and major teaching hospital setting
- EMR: Epic

Candidate Requirements:
- Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Connecticut license or eligibility
- Certified or board-eligible PA or Acute Care NP
- 1+ years of acute care or neurocritical care experience required
- Critical care, neuroscience, neurology, or neurosurgery experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
