**Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Opening in NY**
Located in Cooperstown, NY
**Position Highlights:**
- Full-time Orthopedic Trauma Surgery opportunity
- Join an established group of Orthopedic Surgeons and Advanced Practice Clinicians
- Dedicated OR trauma room for urgent and “cold trauma” cases
- OR time allotted for elective trauma reconstructive practice
- General Orthopedic call with Orthopedic Hospitalist support
- Separate call schedules for Spine and Hand
- Coverage of one centrally located Emergency Department
- Referral base of more than 150 Primary Care Clinicians
- Full support staff including APCs
- Interaction with surgical residents and medical students
- Practice within an integrated health system serving an eight-county region
- Academic affiliation with a major medical school
- EPIC EMR
- Visa sponsorship available
**Compensation & Benefits:**
- $588,390–$690,684 base salary
- Sign-on bonus up to $100,000
- Uncapped physician incentive plan with additional earnings based on performance and productivity
- $10,000 transition bonus
- CME time and allowance

**Qualifications:**
- MD, DO, or MBBS
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Completion of an accredited U.S. Orthopedic Surgery residency
- Orthopedic Trauma fellowship training encouraged but not required
- Eligible for New York State medical licensure
- BLS certification
- DEA registration
