Job Description
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage in Texas. This is an inpatient opportunity with ERCP responsibilities and call coverage at a suburban Level II trauma facility.
Overview
- Provide inpatient Gastroenterology coverage
- Perform ERCP
- Participate in call coverage
- Respond to call requests in less than 10 minutes
- Return to the site within 30 minutes when required
- Complete charting in real time or by the end of the shift
- No walk-ins or urgent care responsibilities
- Pediatric, Adult & Geriatric patient population
- EMR: Cerner
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active Texas state license required
- Required certification: ERCP experience/competency
