Job Description

Full-time Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner position in Goodyear, AZ. Float role supporting care teams across clinic sites as needed. Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan (neonates through geriatrics), build patient relationships, and contribute to quality, risk management, and community outreach.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver primary care services across the lifespan: assessment, diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient education.
  • Float between clinics to meet staffing needs and maintain continuity of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities.
  • Engage in community relations and professional networking as directed.
  • Document clinical encounters accurately and use electronic health records effectively.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and refer to specialists when appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Active Nurse Practitioner certification from the Arizona Board of Nursing.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Competence providing care from birth through geriatrics.
  • Valid Arizona Registered Nurse license and Arizona Advanced Practice license.
  • Valid DEA registration.
  • Current CPR/AED certification for healthcare professionals.
  • Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (Arizona DPS).
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and cultural competence.
  • Basic proficiency in business English, spelling, punctuation, and computer use.
  • Flexibility to float between sites and align with organizational mission and values.

Preferred

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
