General Surgeon - Community Hospital (Sonora, CA) $3,000/Shift, Collaborative Team

Join a close-knit surgical team in Sonora, CA, where you’ll deliver full-spectrum general surgery care in a community-focused setting. You’ll work alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other specialists to provide timely, patient-centered care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Compensation: $3,000 per shift

What you’ll do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients who need surgical care.
• Perform general surgical procedures and handle pre- and postoperative care.
• Take consults and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Manage both inpatient and outpatient surgical patients.
• Respond to surgical emergencies as needed.
• Keep accurate, timely medical documentation.
• Help drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives through collaboration and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Eligible for, or able to obtain, a California medical license.
• Current DEA registration or eligible to obtain one.
