Job Description

TeamHealth is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine or family medicine physician to join our established hospital medicine team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital, a 340-bed HCA-affiliated facility in Richmond, Virginia.

Practice in a well-supported environment with a closed ICU, dedicated intensivist coverage, strong specialty support, and no procedural responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking a predictable schedule, collaborative team culture, and outstanding work/life balance.

Position Highlights:
  • Full-time hybrid position (minimum of 182 hours or 14 shifts per month)
  • Desirable 7-on/7-off rotation
  • Closed ICU with 24/7 intensivist coverage
  • No procedures required
  • Dedicated APC support

  • TeamHealth manages both the hospital medicine and emergency medicine programs
  • Meditech EMR

Competitive compensation with an estimated base salary range of $135 to $160 hourly.
