- Scheduled clinical hours plus call -- 10 - 14 call days per month
- Call response time: 20 minutes
- 10 - 12 patients per shift
- Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular surgical coverage
- Coverage includes urgent, emergent, and outpatient cases
- Clinic hours may be required -- less than 10 hours per week
- CT required
- Only hospital serving a regional catchment area of ~500,000
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
- Assignment details and time entry in online portal
