Job Summary:

Salem Surgical Associates is seeking a general surgery physician to join their well-established independent practice in Salem, Virginia.

Qualified Candidates:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery.
• Experience preferred, new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Bread & Butter General Surgery.
• Niche or special interest is preferred, such as colonoscopies, sarcomas, breast, pancreatic, hepatobiliary, etc.
• Robotic practice is welcome but not required.

Founded in April of 2000, Salem Surgical Associates has been serving the Roanoke Valley for over 25 years.

• This role offers the benefits of private practice such as professional autonomy and clinical independence.
• Physician-led practice.
• Clinic Hours - Monday & Friday 8:30am-3:00pm; Tues, Wed, Thurs 8:30am-4:00pm.
• 2-3 clinic days per week, 1-2 OR days per week.
• Operating Privileges at LewisGale Medical Center, an HCA Healthcare Facility.
• Salem Surgical is located on the LewisGale Medical Center campus.
• Shared call with LewisGale Medical Center Gen Surg & Trauma Teams.
