Locums Gastroenterology Physician - Weekday Coverage, Mon-Thu Overnight Call, No Weekends

Join a locum tenens opportunity in Bay City, MI to deliver high-quality gastroenterology care during weekday coverage. This role requires overnight call Monday-Thursday with no weekend call. You will evaluate and manage GI patients, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and collaborate with the care team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Schedule & details

• Coverage: Monday 7:00 AM through Friday 7:00 PM
• On-call: Monday-Thursday nights
• Weekend call: None

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with gastrointestinal conditions
• Provide consultative care and develop individualized treatment plans
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures as appropriate
• Manage patient needs during overnight call coverage
• Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation

Qualifications

• Board certification in Gastroenterology
• Active Michigan medical license
• Active DEA registration
