Job Description
Location: Lansing, MI - Level I trauma center (hospital-based)
Schedule and Call
- Weekdays: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Weekend: every third weekend
- Call: Q3 rotation (every third weekday and weekend)
- Call ratio among IRs: 1:3
- Average procedural volume: ~8 cases/day
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures (angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsies, thrombolysis, uterine fibroid embolization).
- Provide procedural support for orthopedic, gynecologic, and urologic cases.
- Evaluate patients and develop image-guided treatment plans.
- Monitor intra-procedural and post-procedural patient care.
- Participate in weekday and weekend call coverage.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Board certification in Interventional Radiology required.
- Active Michigan medical license required.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
