Remote Locums Diagnostic Radiology Physician - Night & Swing Shifts (CA License)

We’re looking for a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist to provide remote night and swing-shift coverage for a 9-12 month locum tenens assignment based in Redding, CA. You’ll interpret a wide range of imaging studies - MRI, CT, ultrasound, and X-rays - working from home while supporting timely patient care.

Compensation

• $520 per hour

Schedule and assignment details

• Shift hours: 2:00 AM-8:00 AM
• Schedule: any 5 shifts per week
• Coverage: remote night and swing shifts
• Assignment length: 9-12 months, start as soon as credentialed
• Credentialing: about 90 days
• EMR: Cerner
• Typical daily volume: ~20-25 ultrasounds, ~25-30 CT/MRI studies, and ~150-200 X-rays

What you’ll do

• Interpret general diagnostic imaging studies (CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray)
• Deliver accurate, timely reports to support clinical decision-making
• Maintain clear, complete radiology documentation
• Communicate with referring clinicians and the care team as needed
• Follow established imaging protocols and quality standards

Who we’re looking for

• Board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology
• Active California medical license
• Resident of California, Colorado, Florida, Arizona, or Utah
• Able to provide remote coverage for the listed shifts
• Comfortable interpreting a broad mix of imaging studies
