Locum Primary Care Physician (Family Practice) - Dorchester/Boston, MA - $140/hr

Position overview
Provide patient-centered primary care in a collaborative outpatient practice focused on preventive medicine and chronic disease management.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient primary care services
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Conduct annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, and routine health maintenance
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate specialty referrals
• Manage chronic illnesses including diabetes, hypertension, COPD, asthma, and hyperlipidemia
• Counsel patients on disease prevention, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, and support staff to ensure coordinated care

Required qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active Massachusetts medical license
• Current DEA registration
• Current BLS certification
