Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive overnight care for hospitalized adult patients
• Admit and manage patients from the Emergency Department
• Perform histories, physical exams, and develop treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition and overnight clinical needs
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with specialists, nursing staff, and daytime teams to ensure continuity
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active West Virginia medical license or ability to obtain one
• Strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and ability to work independently overnight
