Job Description
We’re looking for a Locums Orthopedic Trauma Physician Assistant to cover inpatient services in Neptune City, NJ. This is a daytime role with competitive pay and no call or holiday requirements.
Compensation
- $150 per hour
What you’ll be doing
- Perform inpatient rounds and evaluate orthopedic trauma patients.
- Manage pre- and post-operative care, including discharge planning and documentation.
- Respond to consults and support daily floor duties.
- Assist with splinting and other hands-on procedures as needed.
- Collaborate closely with another APP and the orthopedic team to ensure seamless patient care.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-2:30 PM
- No call or holiday coverage
What we’re looking for
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current NCCPA certification
- Active New Jersey PA license
- Current DEA and CDS registrations
- Orthopedic experience preferred
