Locum Tenens Orthopedic Surgeon - Elective Practice Builder in Marion, IL

We’re seeking a Locums Orthopedic Surgeon to help build and grow an elective orthopedic practice in Williamson County, based in Marion, Illinois. This is a rare chance to establish a high-volume elective service supported by an experienced health system, dedicated APP coverage, and a collaborative orthopedic team - while shaping the service line from the ground up.

Basic requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Eligible for an Illinois medical license and hospital privileges.
• Interest in developing and growing an elective orthopedic surgery practice.
• Comfortable managing a limited amount of acute orthopedic and fracture care.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience building referral networks and increasing elective surgical volume.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered, high-quality orthopedic care.
