Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions
• Stabilize critically ill or injured patients and determine appropriate disposition
• Perform emergency procedures within the scope of Emergency Medicine practice
• Manage patient care independently during assigned shifts
• Coordinate transfers and specialty consultations as needed
• Collaborate with nursing and ancillary teams to ensure high-quality care
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in Meditech

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, or Board Certified Family/Internal Medicine with current Emergency Medicine experience
• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain one
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS preferred
• DEA registration
