Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and stabilize patients with acute medical, traumatic, and behavioral conditions.
• Perform thorough histories, physical exams, and order/interpret diagnostic testing.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication administration, minor procedures, and dispositions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary staff; document care accurately and promptly.
• Adhere to hospital policies, quality standards, and EM best practices.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Active Florida medical license.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
