Overview
Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine physician, or a Family/Internal Medicine physician with Emergency Medicine experience, to join a physician-led, team-oriented 16-bed Emergency Department. The department manages approximately 19,000 annual ED visits and emphasizes collaboration, quality care, and work-life balance.

Department

• 16-bed ED; ~19,000 visits/year
• Team-based staffing: 6 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers
• Broad case mix serving a diverse patient population
• Strong multidisciplinary support including specialists, imaging, and ancillary services
• Physicians share shift coverage and participate in regular monthly meetings (remote and in-person)

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling
• Shift options: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM and 6:00 PM-6:00 AM
• Full-time = 120 hours/month

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $305-$325/hour
• Sign-on bonus up to $50,000
• Retention bonus up to $25,000

Requirements

• MD or DO
• ABEM-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, or Family/Internal Medicine with ED experience
• Eligible for or able to obtain unrestricted Kansas medical license
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered emergency care
• Team-oriented with excellent communication and collaboration skills
