Location: Webster, Texas - Level II Trauma Center

Overview

• High-acuity Emergency Department with strong specialty support and multidisciplinary collaboration
• 36 ED beds, separate adult and pediatric EDs
• ~50,000 annual ED visits
• Accredited Cycle III Chest Pain Center
• EMR: Meditech

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, treat a wide range of emergent medical and traumatic conditions
• Manage high-acuity and critically ill patients; stabilize for transfer or admission as needed
• Perform emergency procedures per Emergency Medicine scope of practice
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostics
• Collaborate with specialists, nursing, and ancillary teams to provide evidence-based, timely care
• Accurately document all patient encounters in Meditech

Requirements

• ABEM or AOBEM Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Current DEA registration
• Current ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications (as required)
