Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon - High-Paying Shifts, Travel & Malpractice Covered (Twin Falls, ID)

Join a busy Level III Trauma Center in Twin Falls, Idaho, where you’ll manage acute orthopedic injuries and work side-by-side with a collaborative surgical and emergency medicine team. This locum opportunity is ideal for a General Orthopedic Surgeon who enjoys a mix of inpatient and ED cases, hands-on fracture care, and being part of a multidisciplinary trauma service.

What you’ll do

• Evaluate and treat patients with traumatic orthopedic injuries in both the emergency department and inpatient units.
• Provide operative and non-operative fracture management and related orthopedic procedures.
• Offer consultative care for ED and inpatient trauma cases and participate in trauma call coverage as a member of the orthopedic team.
• Collaborate daily with emergency medicine physicians, trauma surgeons, hospitalists, advanced practice providers, and surgical support staff.
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety and quality care.

Compensation

• $4,050 per 24-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma preferred.
• Eligible for Idaho medical licensure.
• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to manage complex trauma presentations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
