Locums Family/Internal Medicine Physician - Flexible Shifts & Community Health Center (Sierra Vista, AZ)

We’re looking for a compassionate Locums Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join a Community Health Center in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This role is a great fit for physicians experienced in adult medicine who enjoy delivering patient-centered care in an outpatient, community-focused environment.

What the role looks like

• Flexible scheduling: PRN, part-time, or full-time
• Shift options: half days or full days
• Setting: outpatient adult medicine at a community health center
• Typical patient volume: about 3-4 patients per hour

Core responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult patients
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Deliver preventive care, screenings, and patient education
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient services
• Keep accurate, timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active, unrestricted Arizona medical license
• DEA registration
• Strong clinical judgment, bedside manner, and communication skills
