Locum CRNA - Level I Trauma Center (Richmond, VA)

Join a dynamic team providing inpatient anesthesia at a high-volume Level I Trauma Center in Richmond. This locum CRNA role requires adaptability, comfort with high-acuity and emergent cases, and flexibility to work 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts.

Position details

• Setting: Level I Trauma Center (hospital-based, inpatient)
• Schedule: Flexible shifts (8-, 10-, and 12-hour options)

Key responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical procedures, including trauma and emergent cases
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia evaluations
• Provide general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care as appropriate
• Collaborate effectively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with clinical protocols and best practices
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
• Active CRNA certification required
• Virginia CRNA license or ability to obtain licensure
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Prior experience in trauma or other high-acuity settings preferred
• Willingness to work varied shift lengths as needed
