Job Description
Compensation
- $2,800 per day
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
- 1:2 call responsibility
Practice setting
- Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital coverage
- Balanced daily workflow of clinic, rounding, and procedures
Responsibilities
- New and established outpatient visits
- Inpatient rounding
- Interpretation of imaging and diagnostic testing
- Procedures as appropriate to experience, including:
- Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
- Cardioversions
- Loop recorder implant/explant
- Diagnostic cardiac catheterization (optional, not required)
Systems
- EMR: Epic with Dragon dictation
Requirements
- Active Michigan medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Diagnostic cath skills preferred but not required
Location
- Alpena, Michigan - northeast Lower Peninsula on Lake Huron; small-city community with full hospital services.
