Orthopedic Trauma Physician Assistant - Willing to Train, No After-Hours Call, Flexible Shifts

Join a collaborative team at a Level III Trauma Center in Marysville, California, where you’ll support care across the full spectrum of orthopedic trauma. You’ll work closely with the on-call surgeon to manage inpatient care, evaluate new consults, assist in clinic, and participate in surgeries - all within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment that values teamwork and professional growth.

Schedule & compensation

• Shift length: 10 hours (7:00 AM-5:00 PM)
• Coverage: Daily, shift-based schedule with flexible full-time options
• Call: No after-hours call required
• Pay: $720 per shift

What you’ll do

• Round with the on-call orthopedic trauma surgeon and help manage ongoing inpatient care
• Evaluate and manage new orthopedic trauma consultations
• See patients in outpatient clinic and provide follow-up care
• Assist in the OR on orthopedic trauma cases
• Coordinate care with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support quality initiatives

Who we’re looking for

• Licensed Physician Assistant with an active California license or the ability to obtain one
• Prior orthopedic surgery experience is preferred but not required
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care
• Enthusiastic learners who want to grow their orthopedic trauma skills are encouraged to apply
