Trauma & Acute Care Surgeon - Fly-In Shifts (Indio, CA)

Location: Indio, California - Level III Trauma Center

Compensation: $312,000 for 9 shifts/month

Schedule: Full-time

Practice scope:

• Trauma and emergency general surgery covering inpatient, operative, and consultative care
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to manage acutely injured and critically ill patients
• Participate in patient stabilization, transfers, and discharge planning

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage trauma and emergency general surgery cases
• Provide inpatient surgical care, perioperative management, and consultations
• Perform emergency operative interventions as indicated
• Conduct rounds and coordinate care across inpatient units
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nursing, and other specialists
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to clinical standards
• Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and effective interdisciplinary communication

Qualifications:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Active California medical license
