Orthopedic Surgeon - General Orthopedic Surgery (Susanville, CA)

Qualifications

• MD or DO and completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency.
• Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Active license to practice medicine in California.
• Demonstrated experience performing a variety of orthopedic procedures (joint replacement, arthroscopy, fracture repair).

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of orthopedic surgeries using current techniques and best practices.
• Conduct pre-operative evaluations, perioperative management, and post-operative follow-up.
• Diagnose musculoskeletal conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, specialists, nursing staff, and rehabilitation services to coordinate care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and contribute to clinical pathway development.
• Support education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and clinical staff.
• Maintain CME requirements and stay current with advances in orthopedic practice.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $366,000.
• Schedule: 183 shifts per year.
