Job Summary:

HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital is seeking a FT Chief of Emergency Medicine­ to become part of our prestigious practice in Tamarac, FL. Our 271-bed full-service facility has been serving Florida's Broward County community for more than 50 years. 

Description:

• 23 beds, including 6 in fast-track
• Around 40K Annual ER visits
• 2.1 pph
• 40 hours doc coverage Mon-Fri; 36 hours doc coverage Sat/Sun
• 24 hour of Advanced Practice Providers coverage
• 28% admission rate
• Extensive sub-specialty coverage
• EMR: Meditech, Pdoc, and dragon dictation

Qualifications:

Board Certified (ABEM or AOBEM), with­ ACLS, and PALS OR Board Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine with at least 5 years of current ER ­experience, and at least 3 -5 years of Leadership experience
