Hospitalist, Day Rounder (No Admissions) | Saginaw, MI
A leading health system in Michigans Great Lakes Bay Region is hiring a BC/BE Hospitalist for its collaborative hospital medicine group. A separate team handles all admissions, so you can focus on rounding and discharges.
Schedule
- 15 shifts a month (180 a year)
- 7:00 AM"7:00 PM
- Block rotations, not a rigid 7-on/7-off
- Schedules built 3 months in advance
- Easy to trade or pick up shifts
The Role
- Rounding and discharges only, with no admissions
- Average census of about 17
- Closed ICUs staffed by intensivists 24/7
- No required procedures
- Code Blue and rapid response leader
- Work with APPs and teach residents and students
- Epic EMR
Compensation
- Competitive per-shift base, tiered by experience
- $20K sign-on bonus
- Up to $15K relocation
- $400 bonus per extra shift beyond 180
- Up to 10% quality bonus

Requirements
- MD or DO
- BC/BE in IM or FM (IM preferred)
- Michigan license and DEA, or eligible to obtain
- ACLS
- H-1B sponsorship available
