Geriatric Medicine Lead PhysicianOviedo, Florida
$210,000"$250,000 | Monday"Friday
Lead a primary care clinic in Oviedo, in the Orlando metro area. Youd be joining a family-run, multi-site practice that has served Florida since 1989. Its a patient-centered medical home, recognized by NCQA for diabetes care.
The Role
- Medical Director of the Oviedo clinic
- Supervise and mentor 2 APPs
- Work alongside a part-time physician already on site
- Care for older adults with complex chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension and heart disease
- Annual wellness visits, preventive screening and medication management
- Same-day visits and telehealth
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 5 days a week
- No weekends
Compensation & Benefits
- $210,000"$250,000 salary
- Health and dental insurance starting after 30 days
- 401(k) plan
- Malpractice covered
- $1,000 a year toward CME and licensing, starting after your first year
About the Practice
- Family-run and patient-centered, with 35+ years in Florida
- Central Florida sites in Oviedo, St. Cloud and Narcoossee, plus several South Florida offices
- Team of physicians, NPs and PAs
- Multilingual staff serving a diverse patient population
The Ideal Candidate
- BC/BE in Geriatric Medicine, or Internal/Family Medicine with a strong geriatrics focus
- Active Florida license, or able to get one
- Leadership experience or interest in supervising APPs
- Managed care, Medicare Advantage or value-based care experience is a plus
- Spanish or another second language is a plus
