Job Summary:
Qualified Candidates:
- Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)
- Texas licensure or eligibility to obtain Texas licensure
- Prior experience is required
- Practice at a Level II Trauma Center, managing acute trauma and acute care general surgery patients with primarily inpatient/floor coverage
- No operating room responsibilities
- Work closely with a dedicated trauma surgery team, including 24-hour on-site physician support
- This role requires a high degree of autonomy, as the APP will serve as the sole advanced practice provider on the service and must be comfortable independently managing patient care
