Job Summary:

St. David’s Healthcare would like to recruit a practicing general/trauma surgeon to join a busy group of four surgeons in private practice at our level II trauma facility in Round Rock, Texas.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Joining a well-established group with exclusive coverage of trauma and acute care surgery at a Level II ACS certified Trauma Center
  • Board certified/board eligible trauma/critical care surgeon or an experienced 3+ years general surgeon with extensive trauma experience preferred
  • Licensed in the state of Texas or ability to obtain
  • Robotically trained preferred
  • Mainly trauma, option to add elective
  • Fellowship trained welcomed, not required
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Call: 1:5, 6- 24 shifts per month trauma/acute care surgery
  • Supervision and teaching as faculty at Texas A&M Health Science Center Medical School optional
Incentive/Benefits Package:
  • Private practice model, salary comes from call pay and elective practice minus overhead
